Thank you so much for sending copies of “Bereaved Mother’s Heart”, I will make sure they go to good homes. As I said before I have used it in different ways with several clients including our bereavement support group. People have found it to be very inspiring indeed. I had one young woman come to me after the death of her twins – they died at one and two days old. She is an artist but was feeling completely stuck and unable to express herself through her art. I lent her the book and when she came back to me she had done several beautiful creative pieces for her babies. She said the book gave her permission to do so – and inspired her.
I also used the bear cards with a young girl who absolutely loved them, chose all the cross/angry ones to represent how she has been feeling the more relaxed ones to show how she hopes to feel in the future and then drew her own bears to take home.
Your resources make my job so much easier!
